Connected

I'm drawn in by a
powerful pull to the globe
that large globe intersected by
broad black meridians
an illusion of a whole but
apart.

Continents patches
float disconnected
held together in black
space
benign by the choice of colour
light greens soft non
confrontational
inhabited by a pretty
dragonfly.

But on closer scrutiny many
more tiny living things shouting
peace on earth
from within.
